In the first part of our gallery a photo from the Habsburg treasury in the Hofburg Palace we will see a lot of interesting exhibits. More information you will find in the main article , in which we gave a brief description of the palace itself and the most significant relics. In this explanatory article, we will explain the meaning of some of them, most of it is directly after the photo gallery.
The most significant exhibits in this part of the gallery are the regalia of the imperial power of the Austrian Empire. The crown, power and scepter were used to crown the emperors. It is on this page that you will be able to view them better, since in the main article the photo is not very high resolution.
Imperial clothes we did not show in the main review of the Hofburg Palace, you can see both ceremonial clothes and official outfits for reception at the imperial court.
Another very interesting exhibit in the treasury of the Habsburgs is the "Diamond Saber". She was taken as a trophy from one of the generals of the Ottoman Empire and inlaid with diamonds already in Austria. In this gallery we publish a photo of the scabbard. On the scabbard there are two groups of diamonds, which we showed large.
In the gallery there are photos of household items of the imperial family. Especially noteworthy are bedspreads of monarch's beds, embroidered with gold threads and inlaid with pearls. Photo of this magnificent work is also in the first part of our gallery.
Also on this page came a collection of orders of the Austrian Empire, intended for the highest ranks of the army, they are all decorated with various precious stones. All of them were worn by the Habsburgs themselves. And our gallery begins with a collection of keys, unfortunately, we can not tell you about which locks they were intended for.
The first part of the gallery ends with a collection of royal ornaments, you can continue to inspect it in the second part .
